THE ANATOMY OF AN ORCHID SHOW 2026

The Southern Ontario Orchid Society’s 44 th Annual Orchid Show and Sale is a wonderful opportunity to visit a tropical paradise without the hassle of airports. Masses of vibrant orchid blooms bring the wild glory of nature up close and personal.

Besides the floral exhibition and the sale of plants, visitors can attend demonstrations offered by orchid experts, learn from the educational displays or simply admire the orchids captured in the beautiful works of art and photography to be found in the Library. . . .

VALENTINE’S DAY - BEYOND ROSES

Do you want to “say it with flowers” but are tired of roses? Consider a delicate and graceful orchid.

As with roses that represent love and beauty, the colour of the elegant orchid flower also has symbolic meaning. What feelings do you wish to express? . . .
